Biography
One of the most experienced and innovative digital media strategists in the UK. Currently on a sabbatical since leaving in March, the agency he founded in 1999. Jamie set up Digital Media Divisions for London Agencies The Media Business (now Mediacom), EHS and Grey Interactive between 1996 and 1999 before leaving to found Cheeze Ltd. in December 1999. From the initial £5000 investment, Jamie [as one part of the original management] grew the agency to deliver £12m billing in 2006, with 30 staff in 3 offices around the UK. Sunday Times Tech Track 100 2006 Working with his partner, Katherine, Jamie grew the business rapidly achieving two consecutive listings in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 - Fastest Growing companies publications. 2005 & 2006. 2007 saw the agency’s acquisition by the Digital Marketing Group PLC. [digi.l]. Jamie remains a major shareholder of DMG. Jamie consulted for clients on various aspects of web marketing from advanced SEO strategies to content lead social media strategies. A constant digital innovator, Jamie was always at the forefront of trying new technologies, sites or gadgets to ensure his experience is always at the cutting edge.
